| Abstract | 漢譯偈頌五斗、七言體和四、八句式在中古時期的地域特徵及其歷史演進，事實上與中國古代近體詩的四種主要體式--五言四句、五言八句、七言四句、七言八句--的起源及發展有所關聯。漢偈頌雖源於梵胡文本之經典，但可視為譯家創作之詩歌作品。這一創作的現實基礎是古代譯家所處的歷史文化背景。而近體律絕的產生和演變與漢譯偈頌有著相同和相近的文化背景，從這個意義上來看，中古譯偈可以作為研究中古漢唐詩歌發展史的一個極為重要的參照系予以關注。其中一個關鍵原因是，在資料保存的完整性上，漢譯偈頌要遠遠超過中古詩歌，尤其在先唐時期。
