| Abstract | 「佛教與科學」這個話題是目前討論的熱點之一，但想要作一個全盤的瞭解，或許還得從西方的基督教宗教談起，因為一來，西方科學就某種程度而言與基督宗教同源，二者由碰撞到對話，為科學與其他宗教之間的關係開啟了交流的模式; 二來，近代以來的科學發達於西方，而且在十七世紀伴隨著基督宗教傳播到東方各國，從而對其他宗教產生了很大的影響，佛教也不能自於其外。
