Abstract嘉興藏》萬曆二十一年刻經地點遷到浙江之后,對已刻完的書版即請經發行,直到清代嘉慶時最后一次補刻,前后曆時二百餘年。為了統一價格,主持的寺僧按現存的書版,以正藏、續藏、又續藏的書序編序,編成目錄,每書註明冊數和價格,即為《經值畫一》。書版是經常變化的,我們蒐集到康熙時的兩種及雍正和嘉慶時的四種《經值畫一》,內容皆有差異。我們還注意到,除主持刻藏者募化刻經外,還有徒弟出資雕刻師傅的著作及善男信女出資雕刻熟悉僧人的著作,送到大藏流通。所以《嘉興藏》總計刻了多少種釋家典籍,是一個未知數。我們從2000年起,把已知的海峽兩岸現存的《嘉興藏》子目都徵集來了,以雍正刻本的《經值畫一》為基礎重輯,雍正本所無的,編為拾遺。編成正藏211函,續藏93函,又續藏46函,拾遺28函,是迄今收書最多的《嘉興藏》。明代高僧紫柏認為,《永樂南藏》的版片已經朽爛,很難再印,而《永樂北藏》的版片藏在禁中,民間請印不便,民間應該再刻一部新藏。此前的袁黃認為,再刻新藏應改變梵夾為方冊,紫柏也認為再刻新藏應變梵夾為方冊,即可降低成本,也易於流通。經過一番準備之后,萬曆十七年(1589)開始在五台山的妙德庵雕刻。五台山氣候寒冷,交通不便,于萬曆二十一年(1593)刻經地點遷到浙江。按紫柏大師和居士馮夢禎等人的意見,在徑山的化城寺、寂照庵雕刻經版和印刷,而在嘉興的楞嚴寺請經發行。所以《嘉興藏》又稱《徑山藏》,也稱《方冊大藏》。
