| Abstract | 壹. 前言：指明格義學對佛學的研究幫助很大.
貳. 易經離卦本義：即說明「離」卦具光明和富麗的
意思.
參. 曹洞禪要義：其要義為「正偏回互」與「五位正偏」.
肆. 從易經離卦闡明曹洞禪的微言大意：分易經離卦的
結構和本義兩方面去闡述之.
伍. 從曹洞禪透視禪宗的本來面目：分五位宗旨與其宗
風兩方面去透視禪宗的真正面目.
陸. 結語：易經離卦與曹洞禪皆具光明正大的內在辯
證精神，其目的在「致中和，天地位焉，萬物育
焉.」 (中庸第一章).
The foreword points out how great the
contribution of "ke-i"(explanation of Buddhist
concepts by non-Buddhist terminology) to the study
of Buddhism has been. In the second chapter，the
original meaning of the Li trigram of the I-ching,
"bright and majestic，"is explained. The third
chapter deals with the essence of Ts'ao-tung ch'an,
while the fourth one elucidates the subtle language
and profound meaning of Ts'ao-tung ch'an by both
structure and meaning of the Li trigram. In the
fifth chapter，the real character of the Ch'an
School is perceived through Ts'ao-tung ch'an. The
concluding remarks show how the Li trigram as well
as Ts'ao-tung ch'an have the bright，just and frank
spirit of inner realization. Their common aim lies
in attaining to the mean and to harmony so that
heaven and earth may remain at their proper position
and everything may grow adequately. (Cf. Chung-yung,
