Abstract本文旨在闡發中論的空無思想及中道思想的原創意義.
它不似以往之註疏只就其否定的內容再加以敘述或做一些分
析命題的工作;它也不似以往只就中道是「空有不二」的不
夠清晰與精確 (指對現代人類之心靈要求而言) 的解釋而以
為滿足;它以中論否定思想的原創意義的探索開始,尋求其
發生之因,並對完成此理論的方法--即中論的辯證法--
的基礎加以說明並展示;其後,敘述否定思想之做為一種澄
清執著法有的方法的還原,亦即否定的再否定,進而推出中
論中道思想的建立與其較精確的說明;最後則嘗試以此研
究所帶來的啟示,碰觸此時代人們的心靈問題與其原因,
提出一佛法復興方向的參考. 並望有心人惠予指導. (本提
要係採自本文前言部份的最後一段,因其符合提要之內容故
不另為文.

This paper aims at examining the original
meaning of the philosophy of emptiness and Middle
Path of the `Madhyamika Sastra`,in contrast with
the past commentaries which only relate the negation
process of the `Sastra` or inexactly analyze the
Middle Path in terms of unity of being and nonbeing.
It begins with tracing the negation philosophy to
its sources, and at the same time discusses the
dialectic method used to establish this philosophy.
Then the paper treats the negation thought as a
means to cleanse the mind of attachment to things,
in an attempt to explain the Middle Path philosophy
more exactly. Finally,the study is connected with
the mental and spiritual problems of our times. The
author also makes some suggestions as to the revival
of Buddhism in the modern world.
