Abstract通教化法的思想特質,就在其能承先啟後,通貫佛陀一代時教. 主精神則在透過菩薩行者的闡述,讓學佛人回小向大,進而帶出慈悲與智慧的佛法中心思想. 所謂無量無邊法門,如導源歸於佛陀本心,就是「悲智雙運」這個宗旨. 萬法歸一. 歸於一心,而此心就是般若妙慧與慈悲心的彰顯. 透過通教行門的彰顯,才能讓佛門弟子由初聞佛法,依法起修 (藏),然後聽聞菩薩境界,努力實踐菩薩道的六度萬行 (通),經過一段時間的實踐,學習到廣度眾生的種種善巧方便後 (別),待時機成熟自然功德圓滿 (圓),而共成佛道。

通教思想源自天台宗判教思想體系中,屬於化法四教中第二階段的教化. 因此在契入通教思想前,需先對通教本身在判教體系中的地位與思想意涵作說明,然後才單獨抽離通教思想來作剖析與詮釋. 其後希望能透過通教大乘經典中的化人善巧,剖析佛教不離世間覺的積極一面. 最後則上溯法四教中,別圓二教的般若妙慧思想與一切眾生都有成佛之願的圓融思想。

Summary
The teaching of the Buddha and the Tripitaka reflect the special virture of Buddhism. Realizing the truth, through practice and demonstrating that realization of truth through spontaneous compassion and wisdom.

In Chinese Buddhism,the Bodhisattva is highly respected as an eminent practioner of compassion and wisdom.

To apply this virtue into current education,will help to develop the morality and personalities of the students. One who is full of compassion will be a good friend of all beings. One who has wisdom can cope with all difficulties. Selfish actions cause insecurities and destruction to individuals and society. To prevent these disasters one must become enlightened through the cultivation of wisdom and compassion. The Buddha is a thorough enlightened teacher of all human beings, and we should try to emulate him.
