| Abstract | 從東西聖哲的生命哲學觀來看：｢人｣是一個理性本性（或本性具足）、有覺性者，同時有其形上來源、靈性和心神，所以，是｢天地中最靈者｣。但是，｢染淨｣和｢迷悟｣都在同一個｢真心｣上，所以人會因｢染｣或｢迷｣而有｢罪行｣；因此，人要｢ 行德｣或｢依佛行｣、｢契佛心｣，｢返回本源｣，才可能避開｢染｣、｢執｣。全球人類走到今日，好像無法從自己製造的困境中走出來。人被蒙蔽到只剩｢覺知｣，甚至不覺不知，且｢智性｣鄙淺。實則，人所具有的｢靈性生命｣，高於我們理性所能認知。究竟，人類是如何在生存過程中讓自己的生命陷入困境，我們又應如何扭轉此一困局，是個值得深思的問題。
According to life philosophies of both Eastern and Western saints, human beings are rational in nature, and at the same time, they have metaphysical sources, soul, and heart. Human beings are thus the most spiritual creature in the universe. However, human beings can do sinful; things due to pollution and illusion of heart. Following the virtues of Buddha Nature and returning to our origins becomes indispensable. To date, human beings have difficulties breaking through predicaments we create due to our shallow wisdom. The soul is actually higher than we can recognize. How human beings fall into life predicaments and how we can reverse the situations are profound questions to ponder.
