Abstract  首山省念(925-993),是風穴延沼(887-973)的法子,為唐末臨濟宗傳入北宋,最重要的第二法匠。現代禪學研究,對首山的地位,看重並不足夠。另外,對於紀錄首山思想、生平的文獻,理解與掌握仍不夠完備。本文參考會性法師《大藏會閱》等三部禪宗書目提要工具書,採地毯式調查,探究北宋、南宋、元、明、清歷代紀錄首山之文獻,大略共得四大類33種。並從中選取21種歷代較重要文獻,對首山歷史生平、禪法思想,進行文獻分析。希望能藉此,對首山生平、思想,得到一個比較完備、完善的理解。

Shou-shan-sheng-nein (925-993) is Fong-hsie-yen-chao’s successor, imported to North Song via Ling Chi School in the end of Tang Dynasty, standing as the second most influential master. Contemporary studies on Shou-shan, however, did not give sufficient attention. Besides, there lacks a complete literature on and thorough comprehension of Shoushan’s ideology. With 3 abstract books of Zen Literature, including Hui-Xing’s Da Cang Hui Yue, this paper employed an approach of the carpet investigation to explore the literature associated with Shou-shan’s documents in Dynasties of North Song, South Song, Yuan, Ming and Ching. The documentation can be generally grouped in four categories and 33 items. Among these, 21 significant items were selected for an analysis of Shou-shan’s life course and Zen thought. According to these,I wish we can get a better understanding for Shou-shan’s life and thought.
