Abstract | 生命教育是佛教教育的一個重要面向。作為當代一種重要的佛教型態,"人間佛教",尤其是星雲大師所開創的台灣佛光山的"人間佛教",在生命教育方面有的豐富的理論與實踐,為有效解學當代人所面臨的生命困惑提通了寶貴的經驗。面對當代大有愈演愈烈之勢的大徐生自殺事件,"人間佛教"理應在大學生生命教與領域有所作為,而且也能夠有所作為。大學生自殺的原因固然是多方面的,但他們對生命本身究竟為何缺乏正確的了解卻是問題的癥結所在,"人間佛教"應該幫助大學生了解生命的"空性"見,從而激發生命的正能,幫助他們度過生命的灰暗期,重新書裡生活的信心。
Life education is one of the important elements in Buddhism. As the main trend in today's Buddhism development, Humanistic Buddhism, especially the Humanistic Buddhism advocated in Foguanshan Temple, founded by Venerable Hsing Yun in 1966, is unique in theory and rich in practice when it comes to life education and has provided valuable experiences in helping modern people get over their confusion about life. Nowadays the phenomenon that college students commit suicide is getting worse. Humanistic Buddhism should as capable of playing an active role in dealing with this phenomenon. The reason for college students' commit suicide are various, but the crux of this problem is that those students lack proper understanding of the meaning of life. Humanistic Buddhism should help coolege students have a better understanding of life's sunyata, the nature id life, so as inspire their positive awareness of life, encourage them to go through the dark days bravely and build up confidence in life. |
