| 抄録 | 本文以觀察「2018世界神明聯誼會」的活動為基礎，提出了是年的宗教聯誼項目向世人示範的兩大特點，分別是通過促進多元宗教和千尊神明的互動與往來，整個佛陀紀念館頓時轉換為「充滿歡樂的神聖空間」和「互相尊重的平等空間」。本文細究這兩大空間的成功切換，源自佛光山開山始祖星雲大師的「樂觀性格」、「『給』的哲學」與「平等性智、尊重哲學」，可以成為世界各大宗教領袖的學習模範。星雲大師敞開心懷擁抱神明的理論與實踐，是對佛經教義的悟性言行，堪稱是六祖惠能大師所謂的「心悟轉法華」之當代註解。
This paper is based on the “When Buddha Meets the Gods” event of 2018. It proposes that this annual interreligious event has demonstrated to the world two significant features. The Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum is transformed into “a sacred space filled with joy” and “a space of mutual respect and equality,” while promoting interaction and exchange among various religions and thousands of gods. This paper carefully examines the successful conversion of the Buddha Museum into these two aforementioned spaces and is due to Venerable Master Hsing Yun, the founder of Fo Guang Shan. Venerable Master’s character of being “optimistic,” his philosophy of “giving” and “equality, wisdom, and respect,” all constitute an excellent model for a religious leader in this world. The Venerable Master openly embraces all the gods in theory and practice. This is a demonstration of realizing and putting into practice the teachings of the Buddhist texts. Furthermore, it can be considered a modern annotation of how an awakened mind can “turn” (apply) the [teachings of] the Lotus Sutra, as advocated by Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch of Chan School. |
