| 抄録 | 奝然以空海弟子自居，空海曾擔任東大寺的別當一職，且真言宗的最初道場在東大寺。東大寺是華嚴宗的總本山，可知奝然會以迎回日本的釋迦牟尼瑞像佛胎內納置高文進持扇彌勒版畫，以密教彌勒造像呈現出彌勒菩薩在兜率天宮持扇說法，是顯密融合的佛身論思想呈現與表達，看到蓮華藏世界與密教的重疊性。
清涼寺的本尊釋迦佛代表著東大寺一貫核心依據，就是「佛身論」，與《華嚴經．入法界品》所說的「一身多佛論」的佛王思想相呼應。又，盧舍那佛亦是以轉輪王姿態出現的佛王。善財童子在「寶樓閣」見彌勒菩薩的《入法界品》是說明轉輪王與彌勒菩薩同身的經文，是《華嚴經》中彌勒佛王信仰的重要經典依據。故而，清楚的看出，在《法界品》所說的「一身多佛論」佛王思想下，釋迦牟尼佛就是盧舍那佛，盧舍那佛就是轉輪王就是彌勒菩薩。
高文進的彌勒菩薩在兜率天宮持扇說法像，來自於四川雕刻繪畫人材的輩出，前蜀王在中國國內最早設置了翰林圖畫院、避難入蜀而來的大批文人、學士、畫工、技巧百匠等文化精華，以及佛道造像藝術互相影響等因素，爲四川繪畫藝術提供了養份。兩宋時期，密教造像藝術影響了宋代美學思想和繪畫藝術發展，畫院倡導「畫之等以不仿人」，重視藝術作品的獨創和多樣等因素的影響下繪製出的持扇彌勒像。
Tiao Jan identifies himself as the pupil of Master Kukai. Master Kukai was previously the Bettō (responsible person) at Todaiji Temple. Also, the first dojo of Shingon Buddhism is at Todaiji Temple. Todaiji Temple is the headquarters of Huayan Buddhism. Tiao Jan placed the Maitreya with fan engraving by Gao Wen-Jin inside the Sakyamuni sculpture returned to Japan and used the Esoteric Buddhism Maitreya portrait to present the imagery of Maitreya holding a fan in the Palace of the Usita Heaven. It is the delivery and expression of the theory of the Buddha's physical form based on the integration of Exoteric Buddhism and Esoteric Buddhism that reveals the overlap between the worlds of Exoteric Buddhism and Esoteric Buddhism.
Qingliang Temple’s main deity, Sakyamuni Buddha reflects the core principles of Dongdaiji Temple, i.e., the theory of Buddha’s physical form. It corresponds to the “one body multiple Buddhas” theory described in Huayan Jing (Avatamsaka Sutra) Ru Fajie Pin. On the other hand, Vairocana Buddha is the reincarnation of Chakravartin. Shancai’s encounter with Maitreya Bodhisattva’s Ru Fajie Pin in the gem-encrusted pagoda is the scripture that explains Chakravartin and Maitreya Bodhisattva share the same body. It serves as an important reference to the Maitreya Buddhism belief in Huayan Sutra. Therefore, it is clear that under the one-body-multiple-Budhhas theory in Fajie Pin, Sakyamuni Buddha is in fact Vairocana Buddha, and Vairocana Buddha is Chakravartin, and it is also Maitreya Buddha.
Gao Wen-Jin’s portrait of Maitreya with fan in the Palace of the Usita Heaven originated in the backdrop in Sichuan with an endless succession of talented sculptors and painters. The Emperor of Former Shu established the first Hanlin Painting Academy in China. A sea of literati, scholars, painters, and craftsmen of all kinds flocked to seek asylum in Shu. The impact of Buddhism and Taoism portrait art also played a part. Altogether these factors nurtured the development of paintings and art in Sichuan. During the South and North Song dynasties, the portrait art of Esoteric Buddhism influenced the development of aesthetic philosophy and painting art. The Academy promoted originality and diversity in artworks by discouraging imitation. That is the background leading up to the production of a Maitreya portrait with fan.
