| 抄録 | 《藥師經》的經文中，佛說有三種名稱 :一是《藥師琉璃光如來本願功德經》，二是《十二神將饒益有情結願神咒》，三是《拔除一切業障》。佛教界常簡稱為《藥師經》。諸佛、菩薩皆有拔除眾生之業障及救度眾生之願力，也因此願力而成就佛與菩薩之功德與階位。藥師佛依其十二大願力故，以救濟、化度眾生之生理與心理，依眾生之需求而滿足之，並以「法藥」—佛法救人天—能成就如藥師佛功德的大悲功德。
《藥師經》中本具的入世濟世精神，以大乘佛法救渡眾生的「意識」形成，成為修持梵行人入世救渡眾生的最終信念，有其現世存在的客觀條件，促使人們在同理中成就《藥師經》中所言的「十二大願」，即是《藥師經》入世濟世精神。
佛教具出世成就與入世功德，《藥師經》所傳達佛法中己達達人，己利利人的入世大乘佛教精神。入世救濟眾生精神的表達方式眾多，分說《藥師經》的精神所展現現代佛教的醫療活動新象，並兼談宗教之醫療觀。
