| 抄録 | 本研究以《舊雜譬喻經》65則故事內容為主軸，從譯者、來源、思想特色的三大方向來著手來展現此經的特色，第二章中所探討的問題為試論其經題、譯者、年代及底本、版本、名稱及流傳情形，此中特別注重探討譯者的議題，以推論《舊雜譬喻經》的譯者真相；第三章中探究《舊雜譬喻經》與南北傳佛典的關係如何，具體為與漢傳佛典故事及南傳《本生故事》的關係，將兩者比對分析，以呈現此經最為明顯的來源；第四章則深入分析《舊雜譬喻經》所蘊含的佛教思想特色。
本論文所獲得的研究結果指出《舊雜譬喻經》的性質屬於佛傳的譬喻、寓言、因緣、授記等故事匯集及濃厚的寓言性。《舊雜譬喻經》中所出現一些的越南文之痕跡，所以應為康僧會所翻譯。此經成書年代應要經過較長的時間之醞釀，即康僧會從交趾地到了中國建業首都行道後，才出現此經的完整翻譯本。其應沒有梵文本為底本，而可能約於西元2、3世紀，由某交趾聖賢者編纂，後為康僧會之師的講經素料，康僧會有搜集之功，到建業都後才將之譯成漢文。考察此經的故事內容，發現其從眾多經、律、論中的故事搜集及編輯出來，特別與南傳本生經有很深的影響。其思想主軸以小乘佛教為主，並顯著一些大乘佛教思想之根苗；同時對佛教的戒律特別注重。此外，呈現對女性較為蔑視的思想。《舊雜譬喻經》的篇幅雖然比其他佛典故事較短，但其內容特別豐富，濃厚的世間通俗化的佛典。
This study takes the content of 65 stories from "Old Mixed Metaphor Sutra" as the main basis for analysis from the following three perspectives: the translator, the origin, and the thoughts to unfold the special characteristics of this Sutra. The second chapter discusses the Sutra’s title, the translator, the period and the editions of the Sutra, the names and the situation of its transmission. This pays great attention to specially discuss the subject of the translator, to deduce the truth / reality about the translator of "Old Mixed Metaphor Sutra". In the third chapter the inquiry is about the relationship between "Old Mixed Metaphor Sutra" and the Buddhist Sutras in the Northern and Southern traditions, makes an analysis of the specific comparison between the stories from both the Chinese Buddhist tradition and the Southern tradition’s "Jakata Stories" to present its origin in the most obvious way. The fourth chapter analyzes the characteristic Buddhist thought that "Old Mixed Metaphor Sutra" contains.
The present thesis findings pointed out that the nature of "Old Mixed Metaphor Sutra" belongs to the fable category of story collections from Buddhist traditions, the metaphor, the fable, the causes and conditions, predictions and so on. There are traces of some Vietnamese words that appeared in the "Old Mixed Metaphor Sutra", it is because the translation was done by KangSengHui. This Sutra’s completion period required a relative longer period of time, and it was not until KangSengHui went from JiaoZhi to Chinese’s capital JianYe for transmission, that the integrity of the translation edition of this Sutra appeared. It would not have the original Sanskrit text, but possibly approximately in the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D, it was compiled by some Saints and Sages from JiaoZhi. This later became the material for the discourses by KangSengHui’s teacher. KangSengHui can have merit of the collection; it was not until his arrival in JianYe that the translation into Chinese was done. An investigation of the content of the stories in the Sutra discovered that they were collected from Sutra, Vinaya and Sastra discourses, particularly with a strong influence from the Southern tradition’s Jakata stories. Its main thought was primarily based on Southern Buddhism, and there was some apparent sign of some offshoot of some Mahayana Buddhist thought; specific attention was paid on the Vinaya. In addition, it presents some thought which despises the female. Although the length of "Old Mixed Metaphor Sutra" is shorter than other Buddhist stories, but its content is specifically rich and strong in secular popularization of Buddhist scriptures. |
