抄録 | 人類自古即嘗試從各個角度探索生死問題,近百年來生死學科成立,但許多生死問題終未得到圓滿 人類自古即嘗試從各個角度探索生死問題,近百年來生死學科成立,但許多生死問題終未得到圓滿的答案。佛教義理主要內涵即在解決生死問題,因此本文擬聚焦於宗喀巴《菩提道次第廣論》之生死思想,以此探究佛法對生死問題及死亡超克之啟示。 宗喀巴大師乃藏傳格魯派創始者,紹述自佛陀以來傳承不斷,深見廣行二派教理,著書授徒,修建寺院,創辦學制並舉辦大型法會,對藏傳佛法有振衰起弊之功。《廣論》乃其最重要著作,內容兼包並蓄,是從凡夫到成佛的完整教科書。該書以三士道歸納不同世人之生死問題及其生命目標,從中梳理出解決問題達成目標的修持方法。 從下士夫怖畏死後墮落惡趣之苦,引導其學習歸依業果,以追求後世人天善趣為目標。進而進入共中士道,了知即使生在善趣,難逃唯苦所攝的輪迴,學習集業感果之理及解脫諸法,以生起出離輪迴之決心為目標。最後因不忍眾生苦,而以上求佛道,下化有情為生命目標,擴大生格局進入上士道之修習。 《廣論》以成佛為生命宗旨,道次之間層層昇進,次第井然,在修持過程中同時完成三主要道之修證,超越死亡並達到生命最究竟圓滿之境界。《廣論》生死思想扣緊各種生命問題加以歸納並提出解決對策,對當代生死學提供極有意義的參考價值。
Human being has been trying to explore the issue of life and death from different point of view since ancient times. However, there is no satisfactory answer of many problems of life and death so far even if there are lots of related studies of this issue during the past century. The main connotation of Buddha dharma is to define the issue of life and death, and this study which focuses on the life and death ideology of Tsongkhapa’s “The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment” probes the enlightenment of the Buddha Dharma on life and death. Tsongkhapa is the founder of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and also Inherits directly from Buddha’s teaching. Then, he wrote books, taught apprentices, constructed the temples, formed the association of education and held grand Buddhist assembly. To Tibetan Buddhism, Tsongkhapa is the one who flourish the culture of Buddhism and weed out abuse of the superstition. “The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment” is Tsongkhapa’s most important accomplishment, which is rich in theory to teaching human how to identify and classify the different of death of human; As well, this is the complete textbook for ordinary person to become a Buddha. This book adopts “The Three Types of Persons” to summarize different ordinary person's problems of life and death and their purpose of life. This book also combs out and shows beings the Buddhist practice ways to achieve goals by solving problems. Since The Persons of Small Capacity dreads the terrible consequences after death because of corrupted and depravity, this book guides beings how to take refuge successfully to achieve the blessedness after understand karma and samsara. Then, further being The Persons of Medium Capacity after making effort at meditation, person will realize even if in happiness, it is difficult to run away samsara or the reincarnation of bitter. It also means that beings should learn the theory of liberation and the theory of karma for raising the determination of escaping samsara. Finally, it is cruel to see suffering of all sentient beings, so the goal of life is not only to penetrate deeply the Buddhism, but also to purify beings. As well, to expand the pattern of life into the practice of The Persons of Great Capacity is essential. The main idea of “The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment” is becoming Buddha by step by step. This book shows beings how to accomplish three main Buddhist practices - “The Three Types of Persons” when they are on the process of cultivation, and also to overcome the death to achieve the completeness of live. “The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment” summarizes various life issues and proposes solutions; it provides a meaningful reference to contemporary life and death value at the same time. |
