抄録 | This article discusses an interpretation, recently proposed by Mark Siderits, of the claim that within the Buddhist tradition the self is a convenient fiction. It subsequently proposes a novel approach to fictionalism in contemporary metaphysics, outlines an application of such an approach to the case of the self, and then specifies one version of fictionalism combined with some basic tenets of Buddhism. |
