| 抄録 | 民間信仰是臺灣最重要的傳統宗教,也是最具特色的本土文化,但隨著現代環保意識的抬頭,行之久遠的賽神豬、放鞭炮、燒紙錢及燒香等儀式活動,也都招致危害生態與環境的批評,並引發政府、環保團體、廟宇與信眾間的諸多爭議。本文從這些信仰行為的形成背景與文化意義切入,分析爭議背後的根本原因,並檢討現行的有關措施,提出可行的改善策略。研究發現民間信仰乃建立在漢人的文化體系上,具有重要的生存與整合功能,並能隨社會變遷而自我調整,不應以外力過度干涉。政府必須深入民間信仰的內在精神與邏輯,才能制定有效的改善措施,並且應注意城鄉差異,善加轉化與推廣神明關懷生命、化育萬物的精神,使之成為環保的助力。
Folk beliefs are the most important traditional religion in Taiwan and the most distinctive local culture. However, with the rise of modern environmental awareness, the long-standing ceremonial activities such as pig races, setting off firecrackers, burning paper money, and burning incense have also caused harm Criticisms on ecology and the environment have triggered many disputes among governments, environmental groups, temples and believers. This article cuts into the background and cultural significance of these belief behaviors, analyzes the root causes behind the dispute, reviews the current relevant measures, and proposes feasible improvement strategies. Research has found that folk beliefs are based on the cultural system of the Han people, have important survival and integration functions, and can adjust themselves with social changes without excessive interference from external forces. The government must go deep into the inner spirit and logic of folk beliefs in order to formulate effective improvement measures, and it should pay attention to the differences between urban and rural areas, and transform and promote the spirit of the gods to care for life and nurture all things, so that it can become a boost to environmental protection. |
