| 抄録 | 佛教生命倫理學是研究因生命科學（醫學、基因、生化研究等）所引起的倫理議題，以佛教原理應用到這些議題。本文的主旨擬從佛教理論中，探究關於生命倫理的墮胎議題。以下即分就四個部份進行討論：
一、 墮胎議題從古至今造成了哪些生命的議題？
二、 胚胎生命的看法。
三、 佛教對墮胎行為的看法。
四、 佛教兩難問題的面對。
基於上述的構想，本文將嘗試從佛教的基本教理－緣起的原理中，將其中有關於生命的組成、對生命的看法做一番詮釋與說明，並站在唯識學的觀點上，討論佛教如何看待生命的起始點、胚胎生命的存在意義，並與哲學、醫學各學說相互比較與呼應。
以佛教基本的概念做為思考的起點，進而確定其中的佛教生命倫理內涵及意義。在面對當前生命倫理有關的諸多兩難問題，透過上述研究的初步成果，以期激發出可能的因應與解決之道。
為了要使二十一世紀的社會更好，佛教倫理是極為重要的。在佛教教理，充滿了尊重人的精神，及日常倫理的實踐性。佛學是探究人性的學問，世界有名的學者們更指出了，從今以後指導人類理念的，不是西洋的思想，而是東方的思想，尤其是佛教的思想。今日，佛教的價值，可說正廣為全世界所考量著，而佛教倫理必能為我們提供一個光明的未來。
Buddhist bioethics is an ethics subject, which researches and applies Buddhism principle to ethical issues caused by bioethics (medicine, gene, biochemistry research and so on). This article will primarily investigate the issues of bioethical abortion with Buddhism theories.
The discussion will be broken down into four parts:
1.What life issues have been caused by abortion in human history?
2.What is Buddhism's viewpoint to embryo life?
3.What is Buddhism's viewpoint to abortion?
4.How will Buddhism face dilemma?
Based on above thoughts, this article will attempt to give explanation to the composition of life and the view to life with Buddhism's basic principle (the origin principle).
This article will also discuss how Buddhism views the beginning of life and the significance of embryo life from the viewpoint of Conscious Only Philosophy.
The support and comparison with philosophy and medical theories will
also be covered.
We will take Buddhism's basic concepts as the foundation of thoughts, and then confirm the connotation and significance of Buddhism bioethics.
When facing various life ethics related dilemma, with the preliminaryachievement from above research, we can expect to come out with possible solutions.
In order to better the 21st century societies, Buddhism ethics is extremely important. Buddhism is filled with the spirit of respect others and the fulfillment of daily ethics. The Buddhist studies the human nature. Many world's famous scholars had pointed out that the one that will govern human's thoughts in the future is Eastern world's thought, Buddhism's thought in particular, not Western world's thought.
