| 抄録 | 當代社會中，佛教寺院隨著時代的演進和社會變遷，佛教寺院的建築和空間也必須不斷適應新的需求。因而藉由探討佛教建築在不同時期的發展，從印度到中國再到台灣，佛教建築的空間型態經歷了歷史的變遷，進而明確定義出傳統寺院空間的性質和功能，延續傳統寺院空間的特性如何於現代化演進之下呈現新的風貌，因此本研究將聚焦於人間佛教理念對佛教建築的影響，人間佛教強調將佛教的教義藉由空間落實於生活中，使佛教智慧能夠融入人們的日常生活。
本研究以佛光山為案例，我們將探討星雲大師如何將傳統寺院空間現代化，藉由空間功能及實用性，使寺院能夠更好地適應當代社會的需求，此外，筆者將探索佛光山建築群中所延伸出的新興空間，除了現代化的考量，也將探討如何在現代化的建築中營造出神聖空間的氛圍。
綜合以上內容，本論文旨在分析星雲大師的人間佛教理念下，如何實踐於佛光山寺院空間中，將傳統與現代的結合，以及如何營造寺院空間的神聖氛圍，通過對佛光山的研究，希望能夠提供後續研究或給予其他佛教寺院借鏡和參考，以實現傳統與現代的兼容並蓄。
In contemporary society, Buddhist temples must continuously adapt their architecture and spatial design to meet the evolving needs of the time and societal changes. By exploring the development of Buddhist architecture across different periods, from India to China and Taiwan, the spatial forms of Buddhist buildings have undergone historical transformations, then clearly definethe nature and function of traditional temple space. This research aims to examine how the characteristics of traditional temple spaces are manifested in a new manner under the context of modernization, focusing on the influence of Humanistic Buddhism on Buddhist architecture. Humanistic Buddhism emphasizes the integration of Buddhist teachings into everyday life through spatial design, allowing Buddhist wisdom to be incorporated into people's daily lives.
Taking Fo Guang Shan as an example, this research investigates how Master Hsing Yun modernized traditional temple spaces by emphasizing spatial functionality and practicality, enabling the temples to better meet the needs of contemporary society. The study explores emerging spaces within the Fo Guang Shan temple complex. In addition to considerations of modernization, the study also explores how to create a sacred atmosphere in modern temple buildings.
By synthesizing the above content, this thesis aims to analyze how Master Hsing Yun's philosophy of Humanistic Buddhism is implemented in the spatial design of Fo Guang Shan temple, combining tradition and modernity, and creating a sacred ambiance within the temple spaces.
Through the study of Fo Guang Shan, it is hoped that this research can provide insights and references for future studies and Improved Buddhist temple buildings, achieving compatibility between tradition and modernity. |
