| 抄録 | 從現象體會和新近科學報導當中，光的性質一直是一項懸而未決的謎團。佛法教義啓發人心，擅用「心性」的觀點展現人類的智慧，作者從中覺察到應用佛法足以解開光性之謎，破除科學的「二象性」迷思。作者於是應用佛法的內涵，說明了光的性質就是佛法所說的空性。作者並從佛法的啓示中表白了實相性質與心性活動息息相關的根據，說明萬象不離自心之覺察。作者從《心經》「色不異空，空不異色；色即是空，空即是色」、「無相無不相，不生不滅，不垢不淨，不增不減」等引述，以及《金剛經》「如來者，與所從來，亦與所去，故名如來」所描繪的狀態，推論真空中到處蘊藏著原始能量，是光活動的本體，性質分布均勻一致；而生命之起心動念是光活動的源頭。作者透過覺察說明主觀意識的侷限解讀會把許多自然現象幻化成心裡生滅的「相」，進而闡明心性即如光性，兩者性質相同，都是空性。
What is the nature of light? After careful perusal of the latest scientific research concerning light, the answer is still an enduring mystery. From the perspective of Buddhism, the author investigated the dualistic standard by which scientists clarify light as an enigmatic mixture of wave and quantum particle. Drawing upon various sutras, the author concluded that the pure nature of light is just a state of awareness, beyond any labels or descriptions, same as the essence of everything in the universe. The author further concluded that regardless where primal energy exists, and its distribution is uniform, but the form can be induced to change subjectively by individual being, just like an idea can change the mind, thus enlightening one's mind to the nature of light |
