抄録 | (一)研究目的 淫欲問題的探討,各個學科正逐漸展開研究,卻得不到一致的結論,有關的社會問題層出不窮,卻沒適當的解決之道,佛教對這個問題,可以提供解決的方法,因此,計劃研究佛教對淫欲問題的態度和看法.
(二)資料來源 大正藏第一冊至第四十八冊(密教部除外).
(三)研究方法 使用各種索引及目錄,統計學界研究的成果,發現這方面的研究不多. 利用<大藏經索引>查回大正藏,再花兩年時間閱藏,勾劃出有關的經文,共百萬餘字,把經文輸入電腦,作成資料選. 經由分析和歸納,將經文分為戒學,定學和慧學三大類.
(四)論文大綱除緒論和結論以外,本論分為1. 語義和定義2. 淫欲的起源3. 佛教男女觀4. 譬喻和示現5. 淫欲與解脫6. 從淫戒看在家與出家.
(五)研究結果 1. 淫欲的定義是:對有情粗色身根之觸,所生的樂受,而對此樂受的希求. 2. 佛教從最初的呵欲(欲望否定),到示現人間而受五欲(欲望肯定),其關鍵在空性及佛性思想,菩薩不畏欲望,原因就在心性本淨. 3. 淫欲不是生死的根本,真正生死的根本是貪愛;淫欲是障道法,因佛陀明暸淫欲的虛幻性,所以時時呵責淫欲,並且教導種種對治淫欲的法門,是佛教一貫的立場. 4. 夫妻間在適當的時空之下,性器官交合是正淫,其餘的性行為都是邪淫,杜絕一切的性行為則是不淫.五戒有正淫和邪淫之分,八關齋戒是為在家人制出家戒,五戒和八戒最大的不同就在淫欲之戒,因此,淫戒是區分在家與出家的關鍵.
Summary (I) Research Purpose Various academic fields are gradually beginning their research in the issue of sexual desire but have not obtained an unanimous conclusion. The related social problems keep occurring by the multitude and there is still no adequate solution for them. Buddhism can provide the method for resolving this issue. Therefore,this author has planned to study the attitude and view of Buddhism toward the issue of sexual desire.
(II) Data Source The 1st to 48th volume of the Ta-Cheng-Chang (excluding the Esoteric portion)
(III) Research Method Using various types of index and bibliography,and the result of statistical research, but found a lack of material in this area. Using the "Index to the Ta-Cheng-Chang" to trace back to the Ta-Cheng-Chang,spent two years reading it,extracting the relevant scriptures, and then typing the million over words into the computer to arrange into a selection of data. After analyzing and classifying,the scriptures are divided into the study of discipline,the study of meditation and the study of wisdom.
(IV) Outline of Thesis Besides the Introduction and Conclusion,the thesis is divided into (1) Meaning and Definition,(2) The Origin of Sexual Desire,(3) Views of Man and Woman in Buddhism,(4) Analogies and Demonstrations, (5) Sexual Desire and Liberation,(6) A Look at a Monk and a Layman in terms of Sexual Discipline.
(V) Research Result 1. The definition of sexual desire is:The longing for the pleasure derived from body contact.2. From the initial negation of desire to the recognition of the five desires in the secular world,the key elements in Buddhism are empty-nature and Buddha-nature. The fundamental spiritual purity is the reason why Bodhisattva is not afraid of desire.3. Sexual desire is not the root of life and death. The true root of life and death is the weakness for love. Sexual desire is just a smoke screen. Because the Enlightened One understands that sexual desire is illusive,he always reprimands sexual desire,and teaches of the different ways to counteract it. Thus is the stance of Buddhism.4. Within the appropriate time and space,the union of sexual organs between husband and wife is the right kind of sexual desire,whereas all other forms of sexual behavior is considered adulterous. The renunciation of all sexual behaviors is not having any sexual desire. The Five Disciplines are divided into right sexual desire and adultery. The Eight Disciplines are designed for the layman. The greatest difference between the Five Disciplines and the Eight Disciplines is the precept of sexual desire. |
