| 抄録 | 根是佛教的核心範疇之一，初期佛教經論對其論述較祥，學界也有諸多研究。本文根據初期佛教經論，以相關的學術成果為基礎，總結了根的義素及其關係，重點探討了根的理論與實踐意義。其理論意義為：根是生命體所具有的能力：根說明了生命體的積極與消極方面：根是輪迴與解脫的根本原因：根是生命體走向的主導力量。其實踐意義為：以正確的生命觀指導修行：從律儀開始，建立正確的修行觀：肯定並發揮生命體的積極方面，開展旨在解脫的修行。
根的理論表明：生命體本來即具有解脫的能力，由於無明與貪欲使其久處輪迴，要實現解脫，就要彰顯生命體內在的積極面，遏制其消極面，破除無明。
Indriya is an important concept of early Buddhism. The early Buddhist literature has a more detailed description, and there are many studies in the academic circle. Based on the current academic achievements, according to the early Buddhist scriptures, and on the basis of summarizing the sememes of indriya and their relations, this paper focuses on the theoretical and practical significance of the establishment of this concept. Its theoretical significance is as follows: it refers to the ability possessed by life phenomenon; it clarifies the extreme and negative significance of life phenomenon; it explains the fundamental reason and internal power of reincarnation and liberation; it is the leading force of the trend of life phenomenon. Its practical significance is: to establish a correct outlook on life; to establish a correct outlook on practice from the the beginning of precepts; to affirm the positive significance of life and to carry out practice aimed at liberation.
Indriya‟s theory shows that the living body has the ability to extricate itself, and it is in the saṃsāra because of the covering of ignorance. To achieve liberation, we should give full play to the positive force in the body of life, curb its negative force, get rid of ignorance, and carry out practice under the guidance of correct theory. |
