| 抄録 | 道教東方極樂世界名為長樂世界,太乙救苦天尊為長樂世界的教主,職責為度生濟死並接引亡者至道教淨土,具備了佛教阿隬陀佛接引西方淨土及觀世音菩薩人間救苦和地藏王菩薩地獄薦拔的三種神格的綜合體。太乙救苦天尊在道教經典中的名稱有多種稱呼,除了太乙救苦天尊外還有十方救苦天尊、九幽拔罪天尊、朱陵度命天尊、火煉丹界天尊、法橋大度天尊、金闕化身天尊、逍遙快樂天尊、寶華圓滿天尊;在天呼為太一福神,在世呼為大慈仁者,在地獄呼為日耀帝君,在外道攝邪呼為獅子明王,在水府呼為洞淵帝君等名稱。太乙救苦天尊的寶誥及經典如同佛教大悲咒般的功效為教徒所接納並在經典中有多處的說明其靈驗。
