Exploring the topic of Humanistic Buddhism and traditional culture is not only a discussion on the history of Chinese Buddhism, but also a focus on the establishment of Chinese Buddhism in modern times. When promoting Humanistic Buddhism, the emphasis has always been on its relationship with traditional culture. This is the historical experience of the development of Humanistic Buddhism. Through the examples of Master Taixu and Venerable Master Hsing Yun, this paper analyzes their views on traditional culture, by comparing Buddhism and traditional culture, and how they have adapted to traditional culture. On this basis, it also discusses how Humanistic Buddhism will evolve and strengthen its integration with traditional culture.
