Moreover, Buddhadasa adopted the teaching of Mahayana particularly, the ideology of Chan School to Thai Theravada. That is a new reformation of Buddhism in Thailand. Therefore, the research of this thesis presents the influence of Mahayana on Buddhadasa’s thought. Buddhadasa adopted the idea of one mind from The teaching of Huang-Po, the idea of original mind from Platform Sutra, and the teaching of emptiness.
