As the Amitābha Sūtra says, this sahā world in the age of the five evil corruptions,We are also seemingly patiently capable of living in it. However, we are often nearly bound to be suffered or swayed by external circumstances. They say that Namo Original Teacher Shakyamuni Buddha(about 565B.C.- 486B.C.)spoke this dharma, that was difficult to be believed by them in the world, expressed by attaining supreme and perfect enlightenment(Anuttarā-samyak-sambodhi). Tien Tai Ven. Chuh I(538A.D.-597A.D.)in Ten Doubts about PureLand said that ordinary persons who lack the tolerance of non-birth should limit themselves to Amitābha recitation to achieve one-pointedness of mind(Samādhi). Once that goal is reached at the time of death, they will certainly be reborn there,no doubt. Leng Fong Ven. Ou I(1599A.D.-1655A.D.)in the Commentary on the Amitābha Sūtra in the Mind- Seal of the Buddhas stated : Among all these expedients ,we seek the most direct and the most complete, none is as good as seeking birth in the Pure Land through Buddha recitation. If we seek the simplest and most reliable among all the methods of Buddha remembrance, the best is to develop faith and vows and to concentrate on reciting the Buddha-name. So that with the Bodhi mind,Buddha-name reciting with faith、vows, seeking birth in the Pure Land, get to become the very one way boat-like, III sailing to the rescue.
