The purpose of this study is to explore the feasibility of the application of 108 adages of wisdom by Master Sheng Yen in the third grade writing teaching, and its influence on students' writing ability, interest and language creativity. This study uses the educational action research method to target a class in the third grade of the primary school, and conducts a series of writing teaching activities based on 108 adages of wisdom by Master Sheng Yen. There are three purposes: Firstly, improve the content dimension of the article, and enrich the writing materials. Through the memorization, understanding and memory of 108 adages of wisdom by Master Sheng Yen, experience the philosophy behind the language and be able to use them well in writing activities to increase the elegance of text and content. Secondly, strengthen the writing ability through guiding strategies. Through the “analog” of the imitation writing of 108 adages of wisdom, the “precision" of rewriting, the "quantity expansion" of expanding writing, the process of "quality improvement" of continuing writing, specifically carry out utilizing flexibly the sentence pattern of 108 adages language, providing the writing materials, and the ability of completing the description. Thirdly, cultivate the interest in writing and train thinking. Through the composition teaching of 108 adages of wisdom, create an open and diverse classroom environment, enlighten students' associations through the cooperative learning of group discussions, enrich their writing materials, build confidence in writing, and further cultivate their interest. After the course design and implementation, we can understand the difference in writing performance by reading students’ works, interviewing records and the teacher's teaching notes, and judge that this research is sufficient to achieve the following results: Firstly, the 108 adages of wisdom strengthen the ability and performance of writing. Secondly, the 108 adages of wisdom inspire the positive thinking of writing. Thirdly, the 108 adages of wisdom develop the key skills of writing.
