王重陽創立了全真道,並著有《重陽立教十五論》。該作品作為全真道最初的核心教義,對其發展影響深遠。本論文涵蓋道教的發展過程,介紹了王重陽的生平及創教過程,並深入探討了全真派的主要教義。透過對《重陽立教十五論》的各篇論文進行解釋與分析,本文詳細闡述了全真道的宗旨、教義和修行途徑等關鍵面向。全真道的發展特色體現在「三教合一」(儒、釋、道)的理念上。 本論文的第四章是研究的核心。第四章中,對《重陽立教十五論》的各部論文進行了探討和分析,其中七部論,首先是從道教義理出發,詳細闡述原文,接著引入佛教義理,對內容進行深化和拓展。最後,每節結尾則針對潛在的質疑進行深入探討和辨析,並提出相應的啟示。其他八部論,並非遵循此結構,部分章節因佛教義理補充較少或過多而可能導致主題偏離,或為有意留白以供未來研究者發揮。 本論文的研究背景獨特,作者在西方出生成長並到東方深受漢藏兩種佛教文化的影響。這種跨文化的成長背景不僅豐富了作者對宗教的理解,也使得這篇論文在探討道佛哲學和修行實踐時展現出獨特的視角和深度。作者結合超過二十年的學術研究與個人修行經驗,將道教和佛教教義與現代生活緊密結合,旨在探討如何透過宗教修行促進個人與社會的和諧發展。 Wang Chongyang founded Quanzhen Taoism and authored “The Fifteen Treatises on Establishing the Doctrine”, a seminal work that serves as the foundational core of Quanzhen Taoism and significantly influences its development. This research covers the developmental process of Taoism, presents the life and the process of establishing the religion by Wang Chongyang, and delves into the main doctrines of the Quanzhen school. Through the interpretation and analysis of each essay in “The Fifteen Treatises on Establishing the Doctrine”, this thesis elaborates in detail on the purposes, doctrines, and cultivation methods that are key aspects of Quanzhen Taoism. The development characteristic of Quanzhen Taoism is reflected in the concept of “The Unity of Three Teachings” (Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism) philosophy. Chapter Four is the core of this thesis. It explores and analyzes various treatises from “Chongyang’s Fifteen Treatises on Establishing the Doctrine”. Among these, seven treatises begin with an exposition of Taoist doctrines, thoroughly elucidating the original texts, followed by the introduction of Buddhist doctrines to deepen and expand the discussion. Each section concludes with an in-depth discussion and analysis of potential criticisms, offering corresponding insights. The remaining eight treatises do not follow this structure; some sections may deviate due to an insufficiency or excess of Buddhist doctrinal supplementation, or are intentionally left blank to allow future researchers to expand upon them. The research background of this thesis is unique, with the author having grown up in the West and deeply influenced by both Chinese and Tibetan Buddhist cultures in the East. This cross-cultural upbringing not only enhances the author's understanding of religion but also lends a unique perspective and depth to the exploration of Taoist and Buddhist philosophies and practices within the thesis. Integrating over twenty years of academic research and personal practice, the author closely aligns Taoist and Buddhist doctrines with modern life, aiming to explore how religious practice can promote harmony between individuals and society.
