Through an analysis of the origin, development, and crucial role within the Guanyin belief system, we unveil the deep-rooted nature of this cultural phenomenon within the traditional Chinese belief framework. As a part of the divination culture, Guanyin Lingqian not only provides a means to seek divine guidance but also integrates seamlessly into local culture, becoming a symbol of belief and cultural identity for the people. In the narratives of Guanyin Lingqian, a wealth of traditional Chinese philosophy is discovered, reflecting the profound cultural heritage spanning millennia.
