摘要
地方的發展通常與地方信仰產生緊密的連結關係,寺廟是地方發展的歷史軌跡,寺廟管理通常由地方仕紳所組成,在體制不足的情況下,發揮了彌補及教化功能,因此從寺廟的匾額、楹聯皆為當時名家所書寫,除具了教化功能外,書法作品彌足珍貴是地方重要的文史資料。 桃園大溪風景秀麗且擁有豐富的人文歷史與古蹟為臺灣十大觀光小城之一,大溪古蹟、寺廟計有二級古蹟李騰芳古厝、三級古蹟蓮座山觀音寺、齋明寺等,大溪老街位於河港岸旁商旅往來不絕,老街旁的福仁宮、普濟堂建置於清代,因民國五十年代重新改建完成,雖未列古蹟但楹聯中發現有不少是當時崁津吟社成員及外地書法家所書寫,非常值得探究一番,另外清代臺灣巡撫邵友濂匾額所書「俎豆同榮」,目前保存於大溪老街旁的忠魂堂深具歷史意義,大溪老街商家巴洛克風門牌立面為日治時期所建,為臺灣保留最完整的巴洛克式山牆立面,書法藝術融合了中西文化,作品相當可觀。 文內除第一章緒論及第七章結論外,各章除大溪歷史、古蹟、寺廟、老街等沿革外對具意義之匾額、楹聯、立面等作品為探討對象,並對書風及書家背景探討及透過田野調查討論對書法文物之保存現況。 Local development is usually related to local beliefs closely. Temples are the historic trajectory of local development. In general, temple management is composed of local gentry, who have played a role of cooperator and enlightener during deficient of political system. Couplets were all written by famous calligrapher at that time. In addition to couplets inspiring feature, calligraphy works are precious and important in the local cultural and historic materials. Daxi, Taoyuan possesses beautiful scenery, rich-cultural history and historic sites. It is one of the top ten tourist towns in Taiwan. The Daxi historic sites and temples include the second-class historic site, Lee Teng-fan's Ancient Residence, the third-class historic site, Lianzuoshan Guanyin Temple, and Zhaiming Temple. The Old Street is located on the bank of the river and there are business and travel in an endless stream. The Fu Ren Temple and Pujitang, where next to the Old Street were built in the Qing Dynasty and were rebuilt in the 1950s. Although they are not listed as monuments, many couplets are found to be written by the members of the Kanjin-Yin club and foreign calligraphers at that time, are very worth exploring. Besides, the book, "Zhudou Tongrong", written by Shao Youlian, the governor of Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty, is currently preserved in the Zhonghuntang next to Daxi Old Street. It is of great historic significance. The facade of the baroque house of the merchants on Daxi Old Street was built under Japanese regime. It retains the most complete baroque gable facade for Taiwan. Works, the art of calligraphy integrates Chinese and Western cultures, are quite impressive. In addition to the introduction of the first chapter, the conclusion of the seventh chapter, and each chapter the history of Daxi, historic sites, temples and Old Street, etc., the works of significance such as plaques, couplets and facades are taken to be as a research subject. At the same time, the research would discussed the background of calligrapher, the style of calligraphy and through field investigation to reveal the preserved status of calligraphic relics nowadays.
