探討佛教藝術策展與展示設計— 以佛陀形影：院藏亞洲佛教藝術之美為例=Exploring Buddhist Art Curating and Exhibition Design— A Case Study of Imprints of Buddhas: the Buddhist Art in the National Palace Museum Collection

摘要
本研究以故宮南院常設展「佛陀形影—院藏亞洲佛教藝術之美」為個案，探討佛教藝術策展與展示設計。本研究採用「深度訪談」、「個案探討」、「資料分析」等方法進行，研究者從圖像學方法中，分析佛教藝術的圖像學，了解「佛陀形影—院藏亞洲佛教藝術之美」佛像藝術之美中，如何呈現佛教藝術的「變」與「不變」，「變」是呈現不同區域風格上的變化，「不變」是指圖像學，並引領觀眾欣賞不同時期、不同區域的佛教藝術之美。 研究者探討「佛陀形影」策展的發展過程，策展的五大主題：「誕生的喜悅」、「佛陀的智慧」、「菩薩的慈悲」、「經藏的流轉」、「密教的神奇」，「佛陀形影」主要是以彭楷棟先生捐贈佛像中，分類佛誕生、佛、菩薩為主題，加上故宮南院的鎮館之寶「龍藏經」，形成「佛陀形影」五個主要的單元。 此外，研究者分析「佛陀形影」策展形成過程，展示設計要素中，包含：單元配置、動線規劃、色彩計畫、展示設計、文字說明，這五大類中去分析展示設計，並以室內設計師角色，繪製展場的平面圖，展區單元配置圖，並分析展覽的空間，與展示物件的比例，色彩計劃如何突顯展示物件，策展空間如何影響展示方式，以及展示設計的手法，都在在影響著觀者的體驗。 研究者從訪談策展人與設計師中了解，一場策展的呈現，是由設計師、策展人，建立良好的溝通與共識，彼此尊重、建立信任感，策展人與設計師攜手合作，才能創造出動人的策展體驗，是影響展覽成功的重要因素。本研究期望能帶給未來佛教藝術策展人，有不同的策展思維，以及作為規劃佛教藝術展覽的參考。 This study mainly investigates the Buddhism art curation and exhibition design from the permanent exhibition " Imprints of Buddhas: the Buddhist Art in the National Palace Museum Collection" as a case study. This study adopts several research methods such as "in-depth interview", "case study", and "data analysis" etc. The researcher analyzed the iconography of Buddhism art from the method of iconography, understands how to present the beauty of the " Shapes & Shadows of Buddha" from the art of Buddha statues, and how it manifests the status of "changing" and "unchanging" in Buddhist Art. The researcher surveyed the developing progess of the "Shapes & Shadows of the Buddha" exhibition, and explored the five major themes of the exhibition: "The Joy of Birth", "The Wisdom of Buddha", "The Compassion of Bodhisattva", "The Circulation of Sutras", and "The Miracle of Esoteric Buddhism". "Imprints of Buddhas" is mainly based on the theme of the birth of Buddha, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas according to the Buddhism statues donated by Mr. Peng Kaidong. Besides above, there is "The Dragon Canon" which is the most valuable treasure of the National Palace Museum south courtyard, together forming the five main parts of " Imprints of Buddhas " exhibition. The researcher analyzed the curatorial formation process of " Imprints of Buddhas " and analyzed the design in the five major categories of display design elements, including: unit configuration, moving line planning, color planning, lighting planning, and display description, and analyzed the display design in terms of the role of interior designer , drawing the floor plan of the exhibition site, the layout of the exhibition area units, and analyzing the exhibition space, the proportion of the display objects, how the color scheme highlights the display objects, how the curatorial space affects the display methods, and the display design techniques are all in the affect the viewer's experience. The researcher learned from interviews with curators and designers that the presentation of a curator is based on the establishment of good communication and consensus between the designer and the curator, mutual respect, and the establishment of a sense of trust. The curator and the designer work hand in hand in order to create a touching curatorial experience, it is an important factor affecting the success of the exhibition. This study is expected to bring future curators of Buddhism art different curatorial thinking and serve as a reference for planning Buddhism art exhibitions.
