摘要 | 2024 年台灣的天空熱鬧非凡舉世關注,總是一場人間的喧騰。在重新啟封世界的後疫情時代,台灣終將華麗轉身重回國際舞台,而這一路有「人間佛教」在台灣見證「人間有愛無礙,有佛法就有辦法」。「人間佛教」(Humanistic Buddhism)自從清末民初太虛大師提出以來,歷經太虛大師於一次世界戰後宣告失敗,1949 年以後由後繼者印順導師、星雲法師、聖嚴法師、證嚴法師、昭慧法師等在台灣深耕推動。「人間佛教」在台灣已經枝繁葉茂,如今慈濟、佛光山等佛教團體除了自身的海外分支外,還透過聯合國 NGO 成員身份成為國際性宗教慈善團體參與國際公益事務。當今的台灣的「人間佛教」根植台灣,更猶如⟪普賢菩薩行願品⟫裡面那一棵菩提樹王,超越宗教、種族、國家藩籬,庇蔭人間,祈求祥和社會,淨化人間。本文希望從二十世紀以來亞太地緣政治的角度檢視海陸霸權相衝擊的國際結構如何激起太虛大師改革佛教創設「人間佛教」,為戰後國民政府遷台後的台灣社會預留人間珍寶。從 1949 年迄今「人間佛教」為台灣社會穿上「柔和忍辱衣」、「為佛教,為眾生」,在多元開放的海洋之島上深耕佛儒文化,配合地緣政治下體制的轉動,引導台灣社會進行民主轉型。在下一波台灣領軍的 AI 新浪潮裡,台灣早把「AI」寫在台灣(Taiwan),因為「人間佛教」在台灣教化台灣社會把人間放肩膀上,「Taiwan can help」。「人間佛教」在台灣的貢獻是台灣奇蹟,也是世界的奇蹟。
In 2024, the sky in Taiwan is very lively and attracts the attention of the whole world.It is always a commotion in the world. In the post-epidemic era that has reopened theworld, Taiwan will eventually turn around and return to the international stage, and alongthe way, "Humanistic Buddhism" has witnessed in Taiwan that "there is no obstacle tolove in the world, and if there is Buddhism, there is a way." "Humanistic Buddhism" was proposed by Master Taixu in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Master Taixu failed after the First World War. After 1949, it was succeeded by Master Yinshun, Master Xingyun, Master Shengyan, and Master Chengyan. , Master Zhaohui and others are deeply promoting it in Taiwan. "Humanistic Buddhism" has flourished in Taiwan. Today, Buddhist groups such as Tzu Chi and Fo Guang Shan, in addition to their own overseas branches, have also become international religious charity groups and participate in international public welfare affairs through their membership in United Nations NGOs. Today's "Humanistic Buddhism" in Taiwan is rooted in Taiwan, and it is more like the King Bodhi tree in the Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's Vows. It transcends the barriers of religion, race, and country, shelters the world, prays for a peaceful society, and purifies the world. This article hopes to examine from the perspective of Asia-Pacific geopolitics since the 20th century how the international structure of conflicting maritime and land hegemonies inspired Master Taixu to reform Buddhism and create "Humanistic Buddhism" to reserve human treasures for Taiwanese society after the post-war Nationalist government moved to Taiwan. From 1949 to the present, "Humanistic Buddhism" has put on the "clothes of gentleness and humiliation" for Taiwanese society, "for Buddhism and for all living beings", deeply cultivating Buddhist and Confucian culture on the diverse and open ocean island, cooperating with the changes in the geopolitical system, and guiding Taiwan Society undergoes democratic transformation. In the next new wave of AI led by Taiwan, Taiwan has long written "AI" in Taiwan(Taiwan), because "Humanistic Buddhism" in Taiwan has taught Taiwanese society to put the human world on its shoulders, "Taiwan can help." The contribution of "Humanistic Buddhism" in Taiwan is a miracle for Taiwan and a miracle for the world. |
