This article makes a positive identification of the different presentation features of the illustrations to the Amitayur-buddha-sūtra and the Amitayus-vyūha and ascertain by a careful comparative study of both Buddhist scriptures and the Dunhuang murals on the site. And by taking the wallpaintings inside Cave 220 as example, this article have demonstrated some of the specific scenes in representation of the illustrations to Amitayus-vyūha such as the scene of Bodhisattva in bating; Buddhist lecture chaodl;dancers and musicians;heavenly-palace buildings and have taken a very close examination to testify the presentation form of illustrations to the Amitayus-vyūha...
