Duobao pagoda in Dazu was built in Nansong dynasty, and there are fifity-seven niches of statues of Sudhanakumara Visiting Fifty-three Kalyanamitras in it. According to the content of the Sudhanakumara`s pilgrimage,it can be divided into two categories : one is only two plots ,and the other is more than fifty plots. Although there are lacked two plots, it is the complete and original image of Sudhanakumara`s pilgrimage in China. As one of the image system of Avatamsaka, it is reflecting the spread of Huayan faith in Nansong dynasty in Dazu district.
