摘要
「寶徽•意造」的創作研究,來自筆者從川西朝聖之旅的環境經驗中,將佛教圖像符號「八吉祥」與藏傳佛教表法的意涵,藉由繪畫創作轉化為提升佛教義理的心理能量。在創作實踐中;建構了佛教基本思想「緣起性空」以及對日常生活的一種修習體悟。並藉由靜心書寫與揮灑彩墨,找出自己在旅行中,觀察到雪域高原藏民們對宗教信仰的誠篤精神。 「寶徽•意造」的創作方式,是以朝聖期間的簡單書寫與拍攝照片作為基底,再與自己潛藏的印象相互結合,運用並置、轉化舆重複的表現技法,多次在作品中堆疊與覆蓋的過程,來呈現「八吉祥」文化符碼(Culture Code)與內在心靈之間的關聯,希望藉由圖像符號、書寫與彩墨的交融來呼應自己旅行中對大自然與人生的體悟,來探討「佛法與活法」的一種意義以及落實在日常生活中,後續亦將自己藉由修習佛法所建構的心得與經驗之間,找出自己旅行的體悟進以供養十方諸佛。 本論文共分五章,第一章緒論,敘明研究動機與研究目的, 研究方法與架構,研究範圍與釋名。第二章 敘述八吉祥的文化蠡測,內容含括:歷史源流、地域傳佈、佛教表法。第三章 析論八吉祥的形式應用,內容含括:圖案特色、造型表現及應用品類。第四章論述創作理念,內容含括:發想與歷程及作品表現。第五章 結論,研究總結,內容包括回顧與前瞻心得及後續研究與自我對於未來期許。 Research on the creation of "Treasure Emblem - Intentional Creation", the environmental experience of the author's pilgrimage to Western Sichuan, transforms the meaning of Buddhist icon symbol "Eight Auspicious Symbols" and the expression of Tibetan Buddhism into enhancing the psychological energy of Buddhist doctrine through painting. In the process of creation, the artist constructed the fundamental Buddhist concept of "dependent origination and emptiness" and a kind of enlightenment for daily life practice. By engaging in quiet writing and splashing ink and color between, the artist found in his travels the sincere and devout spirit of the Tibetan people on the snowy plateau towards their religious beliefs. The creative method of "Treasure Emblem - Intentional Creation" is based on simple writing and photography during the pilgrimage, combining them with the artist's hidden impressions. By using juxtaposition, transformation, and repetitive techniques, the artist stacks and overlays multiple times in the process of creating the work to present the connection between the "Eight Auspicious Symbols" and the inner spirit. Through the fusion of visual symbols, writing, and colored ink, the artist aims to echo their insights into nature and life during their travels, exploring the meaning of "Buddhist doctrine and way of life" and implementing it in daily life. Furthermore, the artist will also find insights from their travels to offer to all Buddhas by integrating their experiences and realizations constructed through practicing Buddhism. This thesis consists of five chapters in total. Chapter One serves as an introduction, elucidating the research motivation and objectives, research methods and framework, research scope, and terminology definitions. Chapter Two describes the cultural significance of the Eight Auspicious Symbols, including historical origins, geographical dissemination, and their representation in Buddhism. Chapter Three analyzes the formal applications of the Eight Auspicious Symbols, encompassing their characteristic patterns, stylistic representations, and applications in various items. Chapter Four discusses the creative concepts involved, covering the ideation process, development, and artistic expression in the works. Finally, Chapter Five presents the conclusion, summarizing the research findings, including reflections, future prospects, subsequent research directions, and personal aspirations for the future.
