Abstract袁宗道是公安派中的首開風氣者，他通過詮釋「四書」，為晚明文學思潮提供了重要的學術依憑。與李贄及袁宏道的「狂禪」氣象不同，袁宗道詮釋「四書」雖出入佛禪，但歸本於儒。他與宏道和而不同的學術取向，體現了公安派文學思想的多樣性。宗道的「四書」詮釋，對張岱的《四書遏》亦有啟迪。
