| Abstract | 20世紀，藏傳佛教圖像學研究成為藏學研究領域中一個突出的學科，作為西藏文化代表之一的佛教藝術，“凝聚著當地人民智慧與文化的全部結晶”，是一部生動的“圖像史”，對這一圖像史的研究，將有助於人們更準確地理解西藏文化真正的內含。通過對近一個世紀西藏佛教圖像研究史的回顧，結合考古發現和公布的國內外公私收藏中大量豐富的圖像材料，認識到藏傳佛教藝術研究領域目前最為重要也是最為基礎性的工作，就是對藏傳佛教圖像進行系統的研究。對這一課題，我以圖像譜系的建立和圖像分析的方法入手，對圖像的出典、名稱、樣式的形成及變體進行嘗試性的分析。全文由兩部分組成，上編圖像編，下編研究編。 圖像編部分是圖像志性質的工作，主要包括圖像譜系的建立和與文本的對應，解決圖典還原問題，也就是對圖像進行系統的分類之後，按圖像類別和樣式進行時代先後的排列，然後還原到相當時期的經典出處上。對應的文獻主要是梵、漢、藏文經典與文獻，以及前人系統的研究成果。 研究編是圖像學意義的工作，在上編圖像排列和與文本對應的基礎上，通過三個具有典型意義的個案...
