Abstract《新唯識論》是民國以來,哲學界最具震撼力的一部著作。它是中國哲學界難得一見的系統著作,也是佛教傳入中國以後,儒家學者從學術觀點提出回應的著作中,比較有分量的一部。古人或許有些洞見,不過多說不清楚,《新唯識論》正面地彌補了這個缺憾。這部書號稱難讀,因為學者需具備熟悉先秦諸子典籍的能力,又需有佛教尤其是唯識宗的知識背景,當然,對於中西哲學界的重大議題也不能太陌生。基此,研究者寥寥可數。 本文第一段,簡要地介紹了熊十力的生平和寫作機緣,該書板本,和新論的哲學性格。熊十力也是實証究竟論者,或者說神秘主義者。第二段介紹《新唯識論》的哲學架構,各章大意、和理論脈絡;這是給心身觀作基礎工作。第三段,正面衡定在《新唯識論》這樣的理論背景下,熊十力抱持怎麼樣的心身觀。第四段,特別提出個體輪回的問題來探討。熊十力翕闢成變、體用不二的哲學,能在佛教三世因果、六道輪迴的心身觀之外別出新意。熊十力是儒家正統,沒有陽儒陰釋或剽竊佛法的問題。色心同質論是存有論(色)同時也是心性論(心),它是心性存有一本論,這在哲學界是很有創發力的。在諸多唯心唯物的學派理論中,《新唯識論》巧妙解決了心物問題的糾紛,閃耀著智慧的光芒。
