| Abstract | 有關龍女「轉身成男」的故事，相信大家都是家傳戶曉，耳熟能詳了。在《妙法蓮華經》中，舍利弗是認為：女人污穢的，並不是修行的法器，所以不可能得到無上菩提。而且，他更提出了女人有五種障礙的說法，因此，是不可能以女人之身，速得成佛。隨後，龍女即化身成為男身，往南方的無垢世界，坐以寶蓮華上，成就正等正覺。因此，從龍女轉身成男的故事看來，我們可以歸結出以下的兩個重點，也就是：1、成佛不應該有男女之別?—打破了印度傳統「男尊女卑」的觀念；2、成佛不一定要在中印度的閻浮提洲，南膽部洲也照樣可以成佛—打破了傳統上上座部的「恆河中心主義」觀念。因此，本論文希望能透過《妙法蓮華經》〈提婆達多品〉中有關龍女如何成佛的問題，突顯出此經對於以上兩個問題的不同處理態度。
The story about how can the daughter of Nāga become a Buddha from women into a man, was very famous and detail in all our families. In the Mahāyana Sūtra called “Saddharma Pundarīka Sūtra (Lotus Sutra)”, ?āriputra had thought that all women were dirty, so all women were not the candidates of yogacārins and also could not get the highest enlightenment. He also said that all women had the five restrictions, therefore, all women could not become Buddhas from the states of female. Meanwhile, the daughter of Nāga became a man immediately, then she or he went forward to the Pure World in the South India, sat on the beautiful lotus flower and become a Buddha. From the stories of the daughter of Nāga become a Buddha, we also find out the two important point. Finally, to become a Buddha, we don’t need to become a man first, because woman can also become a Buddha. Therefore, it breaks out the difference between man and woman. Secondly, to become a Buddha, We don’t need to bear in the Jambūdvīpa of Central India, we can also become a Buddha in Sāhvaya Jambūdvīpa of South India. Therefore, it breaks out the traditional ideas of Buddha Centralism in Ga?ga of the Sthavira. Throughout the discussion about how can the daughter of Nāga become a Buddha from a women into a man in Saddharma Pu?darīka Sūtra, I want to show up the different manner about this two question in the Sūtra. |
