| Abstract | It is one of the very important problems to manage missing characters in digitalization of Hanguk Bulgyo Chonso due to the limited of number of Unicodes for Chinese characters.
In this paper, we present the functional organiztion of the missing character management system and review the technical scheme for handling missing characters developed during the last 8 years in digitalization of Hanguk Bulgyo Chonso. In addition, we present statistics about missing characters processed during the period and discuss both of the missing character management system and the user interface for retrieval of missing characters. |
