| Abstract | 《華嚴音義》是唐代產生的一部音義書。流傳至今的版本共有29種,分為二個系統,一是《慧苑音義》系統,另一是《古寫本華嚴音義》(下簡稱《古寫本》)系統。《古寫本》和藏經內的其它材料都表明在當時有多種《華嚴音義》流傳,而《古寫本》 以《慧苑音義》為主要底本,可見《慧苑音義》是當時流傳最廣,音義質量較高的一種。通過對《華嚴音義》版本的梳理可以發現藏內單刻的《慧苑音義》是它流傳至今的主要版本。對《慧苑音義》較早的版本《趙城藏》本的音切採用反切系聯和比較歸納法進行整理,可以看到《切韻》產生100年以後的唐代北方通語的概況,但由於它的音切總量較少,可能當時的一些語音實際並沒有反映到《慧苑音義》的語音系統裏,因此,還要參照當時的歷史語音發展情況,具體分析以下系聯結果:聲類方面,一、云母從匣母中獨立出來,成為一個新的聲類;二、沒有俟母字出現。韻類方面,有些韻類已經合併:怪、夬合韻,脂、之合韻,尤、幽合韻,鹽、嚴、添合韻,山、刪合韻,仙、元合韻,真、文合韻。聲調方面,只有四聲而無八調。通過對單刻本《慧苑音義》的校...
Sound and Meaning of Avatamsaka Sutra, an annotated book written by Huiyuan, came into being in Tang Dynasty. It gives right sound notations and meanings to hard words in Newly Translated Avatamsaka Sutra.
