The ethic concepts expounded in Sishuanbanna Dai Feudal Regulations and Procedures were defined by the rulers when the society was beginning to enter the feudal stage through their laws and ideology. They obviously show the influence of the Han culture but still maintain the Dai features. They are different from the Han ethics in four aspects: they are ethic-politic regulations; the regulations are both law and ethics; their value is toward a docile personality model; the philosophic basis is unconsciously external.
