Abstract漢譯佛典語言的一個重要特色就是它的通俗性,隨著佛教的弘傳而直接影響中古漢語詞匯系統。此時的漢語發生了巨大的變化,俗語詞劇增。本文以中古漢譯佛典《六度集經》為對象,從中爬梳中古俗語語匯,以大量實證材料,進一步印證漢譯佛典是中古語匯發生劇變的重要媒體。

Chinese versions of Buddhist scriptures possess an important feature: they are easy to read. With Buddhism spread far and wide, they directly influenced the vocabulary system of ancient Chinese. At that time the Chinese language was experiencing great changes, with popular words and expressions increasing rapidly. Based on a study of the ancient Chinese version of Buddhist scripture of Six Fixed Ways for Saints, this paper combs and tidies up a large number of colloquialisms. With plenty of examples the paper confirms that ancient Chinese versions of Buddhist scriptures are an important medium which brought about rapid changes in ancient Chinese vocabulary.
