In the early Qing dynasty, the Tibetan Buddhism of Wutai Mountain grows prosperous due to its unique geographical features, rich Buddhism culture and the high praise of the emperors. In the early Qing dynasty the emperors visited the Wutai Mountain time and again as well as many Mongol and Tibetan eminent monks. The number of temples and monks of the Tibet Buddhism increased rapidly and temple management has been improving gradually.
