Abstract本書は、明治維新期、薩摩藩の排仏の藩命よって瓦解した、聖護院本山派修験飯隈山別当蓮光院に関する文書を収録した史料集である。本山・京都聖護院所蔵のものを中心に、大崎町役場蔵本、鹿児島県歴史資料センター黎明館蔵本、熊野那智大社文書集などから関係文書を収集、翻刻し、巻末に史料原本影印および参考資料の一部を採録する。
