Abstract唐代佛性爭議,主是性宗與相宗彼此間之評破。玄奘唯識新義傳譯後,引起兩波對論。初唐靈潤反對無性說,高唱一性皆成宗義,神泰造論反駁,新羅義榮隨之造論支持靈潤。靈潤早年深受舊譯涅槃思想影響,故極力反對無性說。首先他全盤否定一分無性說,稱它為凡小不了義執。其次靈潤批評新譯所說「一切眾生悉有佛性是少分,非全分一切」,認為佛性一切眾生悉有,如說佛性是少分一切,則佛性
不平等不如虛空,有違經教。最後他評破「理性平等,行性差別」的說法,引真常系典籍,證明有理佛性必有行佛性。神泰站在相宗立場,主張可一分有性一分無性,強調言佛性時,不可偏重理性一門,而忽略行性可有可無之事實。靈潤與神泰之爭,主在對真如觀的差異,以致各有其論證上的依據與困難,各說各話,可能永無定論。
