Abstract儒學客觀化即儒學現代化問題。作者認為,牟宗三先生「兩層存有論」與「一心開二門」的理論架構,一方面處理儒道釋三家與西方哲學會通的哲學問題,一方面又解決儒學客觀化如何自我轉化而成可能的文化問題。本文以孔孟,老莊與荀韓,約化為中國哲學思想的三大基型,孔孟是道德主體,老莊是生命主體,荀韓是知性主體,以此三大基型探究當代中國文化的可能出路。中國儒釋道三家皆可證成康德的現象與物自身之分,即兩層存有論,此思想體系由一心開二門的理論架構撐開。本文為「一心開二門」進一解,重點在實踐上做「曲成」的工夫。由孔孟到老莊的讓開一步,才能照顧天下人,此是「曲」;再由老莊到荀韓,才能建構客觀的制度,尊重天下人,此是「成」。
