Abstract | Buddhism,Jainism and Advaita Vedantism have different views of the self and its relation to ahimsa or non-violence,but together they constitute a single spiritual entity. Jain monks abhor violence in all forms, while Advaita Vedantists believe in living according to prescribed spiritual tenets. |
