Abstract | A Philosophical analysis of the general meaning of dogen's experience is offered. "casting off the body and the mind," the judgment operative in,and generative of,may be characterized as "attunement" in which the act aspect of this judgment is "somatic" in character in contrast to the intellectual judgment in which the act aspect of the judgment is "cogito" allegedly divorced from the body. |
