| Abstract | 泰國所信仰的佛教屬於南傳上座部，即小乘佛教。佛教徒約佔全國總人口的百分之九十四，全國大、小佛寺二萬餘座。因和尚穿黃色袈裟，所以泰國有“黃衣之國”之稱。泰國除信仰佛教外，還信仰基督教、伊斯蘭教、印度數，在華僑和越僑當中，還有人信仰大乘佛教、道教、儒教，但人數不多，在1950年正式登記的華人大乘佛教徒只有五十五名和尚。 |
