Abstract | 經量部又稱說轉部(Saukantika),是部派佛教中產生最晚的學派。此派產生雖晚,但對以后佛學的發展影響很大。在大、小乘對立時期,它和毗婆娑論師同為小乘佛教的代表,而瑜伽行派(Yogacara)和中觀派則為大乘佛教的代表,并合稱為印度佛教的四宗。約在公元一世紀時,經量部從毗婆娑論師即說一切有部中分化出來。與說一切有部的重論不同,經量部則偏重于經。由于所重的典笈不同,所以兩派的基本觀點也不相同。經量部認為現在實有,過去、未來無體,這就和說一切有部完全不同。經量部的這一基本觀點,是在接受大眾部的影響與批判說一切有部的過程中逐漸形成的。
After examining the theories of the Sautrantika and comparing them with those of otherBuddhist sects, the author comes to the conclusion that the Sautrantika was a link between proto-Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism; its theories derived themselves from proto-Buddhism andwere later developed by Mahayana into a stricter and more detailed system of religious idealism.
